Johannes Brahms

Directed by Michael Stewart
Wellington Cathedral of St Paul
Cnr Molesworth and Hill St

Brahms’ own piano-duet arrangement of his masterpiece Ein Deutsches Requiem was completed in 1869, and it was in this arrangement that the work was first performed in Britain in 1871. Acclaimed pianists Emma Sayers and Richard Mapp join The Tudor Consort to present the ‘London version’, giving you the chance to experience this work as chamber music.
